About Us
In 2009 Daryl Ford founded a Portable Storage Shed business and called it "Backyard Creations". His goal as a husband and father was to provide for his family as well as deliver a super high quality portable building to residents in the Springfield, IL area as well as Petersburg and other areas of Illinois. Satisfaction wasn't good enough, The goal was "customer delight"!
In 2018 we've decided to change the name of our company to "Top Notch", due to some very confusing phone calls stemming from a crossover branding of another product that is not related to our portable buildings. Our phone would ring with inquiries day after day and we found that the best solution was to make a change that would eliminate the confusion.
We've grown quite a bit over the years and our service area has grown as well. Daryl has been joined by two of his children, Christian and Joshua who have become a huge asset to our company as they are knowledgable as go be bond the call of duty for our customers.
We are honored to be able to offer products that are 100% manufactured in the heartland of Illinois and we offer these high quality products at incredibly affordable prices!
